“14,000 people are losing their health insurace every day”

I keep hearing the president say, “14,000 people are losing their health insurance every day.”  Just like every other Orwellian comment out of Washington, this is very misleading.

I can’t find the statistics to prove or disprove what the president is saying, but that is largely irrelevant.  The reason 14,000 people are losing their health insurance has nothing to do with a horrible health care system and is nothing more than a symptom of a bad economy. The majority of Americans get their health insurance through their employer, so it would be quite an anomaly if thousands of people weren’t losing their health care insurance every day.

No one disagrees  that our health care system needs improvements, but more government is not going to solve anything, it will only make the entire system worse . Has more government ever solved anything?

Let me ask you this, public or private school?
