Book: The Underground History of American Education

Web Review of the book
I consider this one of the most important books that I’ve ever read in the area of history and social criticism. The author introduces the reader to a history that is seldom presented to the reading public. I refer to the history of coercive social engineering in the form of forced attendance government schools. What is revealed is nothing less than the purposeful dumbing down of a whole people to make possible the transformation of a free American republic into a centralized corporate state. The main purpose of forced of government schooling, it turns out, is to create a compliant citizen that can be manipulated by corporate employers, politicians and their allies who together comprise a modern day aristocracy or Governing Class whose main purpose in life is to live parasitically off of the efforts governed.

The book is freely availble online.
