Are You Insane?

Do you believe the economy is recovering? If so, why?  Who are you listening to? Albert Einstein once said the definition of insanity is, “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”  Anyone who believes the economy is recovering is, by Einstein’s definition, insane.

I woke up this morning to read reports of worse than expected unemployment numbers, worse than expected consumer spending and worse then expected foreclosure rates.

Our overlords in Washington have told us over and over again that the economy is showing signs of recovery only to be proven wrong over and over again.  Keep in mind, these are the same people who have everything to gain if people THINK the economy is headed in the right direction.  These are also the same people who had no clue the economy was about to tank just before the biggest economic collapse since The Great Depression.

It is a mathematic impossibility that the economy will even begin to recover as long as we continue to spend and not fund our debts, period.

Get out of the stock market while you still can.  That is, unless you are insane.
